This production is for our middle and high school aged students
(12-18 years of age)

See below for more information about our audition process.

PPCT participants are selected after general auditions held before each production. These auditions are thorough and examine candidates’ interest and attitude as well as their aptitude in the Music/Theatre Arts.

Elementary Productions: These auditions are designed so that any child can audition. Children do not need to have any experience and therefore, do not need to prepare things such as monologues, songs, or dance routines. At the audition, candidates participate in a physical and vocal warm-up routine and play theatre games.

Advanced Productions: Children auditioning for this level should have several years of theatrical experience. High standards of discipline and commitment are observed.

Musicals: Prepare sixteen bars of a song from a musical. Auditions also include dance routines and reading.

Plays: Prepare a monologue (no more than one minute) from a classical or contemporary play depending on the production being produced.

TUITION AND SCHOLARSHIPS

Tuition for each production is $250.  In the case of siblings being cast in the same production, tuition is reduced $25 per additional child.  Eg. Second Child - $225, Third Child - $200, etc.

Partial Scholarships are available at request for children from families with limited financial resources. Any child being considered for a scholarship must show an extraordinary attitude and interest in any aspect of Music/Theatre Arts. If you would like your child to be considered for a scholarship, please email the office at ppctoffice@gmail.com upon your child's casting in a production and request a scholarship information form.
